I'm not sure when dishwashers became synonymous with counter top, but it is what it is. Having a dishwasher makes getting the dishes done easier and faster but when you do it without a fully integrated dishwasher, you are back to having at least twice as many little wasteful moments that don't contribute to your other cleaning duties.
With all the things Fisher Paykel did to make sure this dishwasher would be so well integrated into a homeowner's kitchen, it's a wonder that they didn't make it fully integrated. I don't know about you but I would really like the option of a dishwasher where the dishes can be washed from both sides.
Having the option of 3 wash options for the dishes is also a great feature since you may have 3 different dishes that you want washed.
The dishwasher is a 24-inch built-in fully integrated dishwasher, so it will hold a lot of dishes. It puts 14 place settings in its basket, which means you can clean 5 large families of dishes or with a few extra helpers, it can clean 12 place settings.
When you decide to wash the dishes, you do so independently, unlike an automatic dishwasher. The flex rack places the silverware in a fully separate drawer, so it can be rinsed clean without risking any impact to any of the plates.
The control panel is located on the top and is not on the side, so you do not have to reach over the door to operate it. The door release handle is also tight, which means it will not open accidentally while the door is in motion.
